Teen Fellowship

Teen Fellowship is our program for students in 7th – 12th grades that meets the 2nd Sunday of the month immediately following worship until 4:00 pm with lunch provided.

As Presbyterians we understand that mission is a response to our faith, therefore a very necessary part of being a disciple of Jesus. Inspired by youth summer mission work, we are calling 2014-2015 a year of faith and mission. Our mission project will be building bunk beds for the Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep Bed Ministry. Working with local furniture maker and church member Jason Myers, Teen Fellowship will make, assemble, and deliver the beds during their gatherings. This is an exciting new opportunity for teens to see the projects from start to finish.

Confirmation

Our Confirmation program prepares 7th and 8th graders for a more in depth teaching and understanding of their faith helping them make a more informed decision about official membership in the church. This program convenes every other year. Starting with a Presbytery-wide confirmation retreat, the students worship, study scripture and theology, and engage in mission as they begin to reaffirm their faith and the promises made at their baptisms.
