ADULT EDUCATION

Adult education classes meet on Sundays from 9:30 to 10:20 a.m. in the Cairl Room or the Church Library during the regular church year.  Topics range from spiritual practices and biblical studies to explorations of church history, church music, and church art.

During the summer months, a class meets on
Sundays from 11:15 to 11:45 in Boyd Chapel to reflect on the preaching text and to offer background on the biblical passage.

On Thursdays from 10 to 11 a.m., a bible study class meets weekly in the Cairl Room.  Topics range from biblical studies to contemporary issues as related to the Christian faith.

CHILDREN’S EDUCATION

Classes for children up to third grade are offered during the worship hour in the Wee Believers Room. The classes include a Bible lesson and a craft project related to the lesson. On Communion Sundays, children return to worship in the sanctuary after the Bible lesson.

During the summer, a week-long Music Camp is offered for children entering second through sixth grades.  Children learn a Bible story, do crafts, play instruments, and sing.


YOUTH EDUCATION

Confirmation is typically offered for youth entering eighth to tenth grade. For more information, call the church office.

During the summer, at Kirkmont Center in Zanesfield, OH,  a one-week youth camp for those who have completed the third through twelfth grades  is offered. The church makes scholarships available. For more information, please contact our church office.
